Types of food additives and the safety


Actually we are no stranger to types of food additives, as the use of food additives are everywhere in our daily life. Such as emulsifiers in instant noodles to improve the dough's water absorption; thickeners and flavor in ham can make the ham more tender; and the most familiar and the most common additive is salt. Who will want food with no taste? If there is no food additives, there won't be so many variety and assortment food; If there is no food additives, food cannot be properly made or saved. Food additives adjust our lives and is an indispensable part of our lives.

What are food additives? How they are used in food? Here are some introduction about common food additives:

Pigments, spices, bleach, flavor enhancer, sweetener added to improve the quality;
Antioxidants and preservatives prevent food spoilage;

Defoamers, stabilizers and emulsifiers are convenient for food processing;
